About This Wine

This very successful oaked style wine has been made at Sharpham since 1992 and is one of the few English wines to be fermented in new oak barriques. Reflecting the excellent vineyard conditions in 2005 the aromas and flavours are complex and balanced, giving a wine with great finesse. Ages well for up to 5 years. It is a fantastic match for lightly char-grilled white meats or vegetables. Excellent with smoked fish.

Our Thoughts

This is our Thai takeaway wine! Magic with a chicken & prawn Pad thai.
